To keep yourself safe from scammers, familiarize yourself with the types of information Spero will never ask for over the phone, text, or email!
These include:
💡 Your account or PIN number
💡 Your online banking login credentials
💡 Your social security number
💡 Other personally identifying information (like your driver’s license number)
Spero will also never ask you to do things like:
💡Open an attachment from an unfamiliar sender
💡Click on unfamiliar links
💡Transfer funds to yourself using services like Venmo or CashApp to reverse fraudulent withdrawals.
If someone is asking for any of the info or actions listed above, they’re most likely a scammer and you should not comply.
