Greenville, SC – Spero Financial, a South Carolina-based credit union since 1935, has been named one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in South Carolina, an award the credit union also received in 2021.

This distinction is awarded by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
This annual program is designed to recognize outstanding places of employment in South Carolina. To be considered for participation, Spero Financial had to meet eligibility requirements based on organizational size and operational history – in addition to completing a two-part evaluation including a review of benefits/policies and participate in a confidential employee engagement and satisfaction survey. Based on these findings, scores were combined to determine the top companies and final rankings.
An award ceremony will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on August 18, where Spero Financial and other recipients will receive their official award and ranking. In addition, all winners will be featured in a special edition of SC Biz Magazine in August.
