We are excited to welcome David D’Alessio as Spero Financial’s VP of Talent Management. Known around the office as Dave, his high-energy and upbeat demeanor makes it seem as if he’s been part of Team Spero for years.
His over 20-years of experience in human resources – from recruitment to employee engagement and everything in between – makes him well equipped to oversee all aspects of the Talent Management and Human Resource initiatives at Spero.
Here, Dave shares a bit more about his new role and what he enjoys in his free time.
What will be the daily responsibilities in your new role?
I am currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Talent Management and Human Resources Group. This includes but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, and training.
How have you enjoyed Spero Financial so far?
I could not have asked for a better start to my career with Team Spero, and I am so proud to be part of this team. What I like the most are the people! Everyone is genuine and welcoming and truly care about their work and the company. It feels like a big family, and the leaders of our company truly care about our employees - not only in business but personally as well! I am extremely fortunate to have such a great HR team as well! So many great things to look forward to!
What is a fun fact about yourself?
If I could only watch one movie for the rest of my life it would be Rocky IV – YO ADRIAN!
We also learned that Dave has been married to his wife, Shelley, for almost 17 years. He is a proud dog dad of Jersey (10) and Dixie (2) and is the favorite uncle to eight nieces and nephews!
In your free time, where can we find you?
I am a huge sports fan, so in my free time I will be watching any game that involves Clemson, the NY Yankees, or NJ Devils. My wife and I are big foodies as well and love exploring downtown Greenville and trying out new places. I enjoy working around the house and in the yard!
