We are excited to welcome Ken Leone as Spero Financial’s Director of Remote Services. A pinball enthusiast, three-time skydiver, and dad of four - we had the chance to connect with Ken and get to know him a bit better!
How long have you been in the financial industry and what did you do before Spero?
As a 25-year veteran in the financial industry, I worked most recently with Fiserv as the Director of Debit Compliance. In this role, I worked with payment card brands (VISA, Mastercard, STAR, etc.) and supported national merchant accounts.
What will be your daily responsibilities as the Director of Remote Services?
I will oversee the organization’s credit and debit card payment programs (aka keep our members’ cards working like they are supposed to) and support the TellerLink and ATM programs.
How have you enjoyed Spero Financial so far?
It’s been great! The people are super friendly and helpful. After spending the last 15 years working remotely, I began to feel a bit disconnected. The culture here is so close; it’s like being part of a large family. I feel more connected and have the true sense of being part of a company that serves our community.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I have been skydiving three times. I was part of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps.
In your free time, where can we find you?
I like golf but only get out once or twice a year. I like to play pinball; I spent a lot of time in the arcade as a kid and got pretty good at it. There is a great arcade in Simpsonville and one in Hendersonville. I also like to spend time with my family. My wonderful wife of 25 years, Karen and I have four kids – Rich, Matt, Kimberly, and Bethany – all of which live in the area.
